I am really excited to learn about this new TK-Lizer to be used in mixing and mastering! Check this out audiophiles —
"TK Audio, the discerning manufacturer based in scenic Halmsted, Sweden, recently announced the availability of TK-lizer, a stereo Baxandall-style EQ for mixing and mastering, with the added benefit of M/S processing. Get your hands on some hardware!
Referring to their new hardware unit as a “tone shaper” mastering and main buss EQ, the TK-lizer’s Baxandall-type design provides high and low bands that are selectable between shelving or bell, for fine tuning of lows, mids, and highs.
The EQ, which is handbuilt in Sweden, also has a built in M/S function for separate processing of mid and side signals. The stereo width of program material can be affected, by using the level controls in M/S mode. Finally, the TK-lizer’s three bands are based on the legendary Baxandall circuit from the 1950’s. "
